​Press Office: “This information is fabricated for confusion and systematic abuse”.

The Presidency Press Office issued the following statement:

“For days, media outlets have been publishing false information about President Michel Aoun’s intention to sign a decree accepting the government’s resignation, and based on this fabricated information, there is analysis about other steps that President Aoun intends to take.

The Presidency Press Office categorically denies this information, and asserts that it is totally baseless and falls within the framework of deliberate confusion and systematic abuse of the position of the presidency and the person of the President.

The Presidency Press Office reiterates its call for the media to refer to it to clarify everything related to the positions of the President of the Republic, so as not to fall for lies and deceptions that abound in such political seasons that the country is currently experiencing”.​
